The Brand Vending Products unit of Brand Imports, LLC has expanded its line of novel bulk merchandise with five additions.</p>
<p>The Shattered mix is a space-age update of a classic practical joke, a realistic static-cling simulation of broken glass accompanied by one of several projectiles feigned to have broken it: a .45-cal. slug, a baseball, a screw, and more.</p>
<p>Tattoo Parlor is a collection of articles of personal adornment: an 18-in.-long sleeve (which even will fit most adults), a bandanna, a colored armband tattoo, plus a body clip, a “magic tattoo” and related items.</p>
<p>Charmed is a 21st-century implementation of the traditional charm bracelet. The mix includes the bracelet itself, a flat plastic band in several colors, and a variety of colorful charms that clip onto it: letters, figures and shapes. The versatility of the system encourages collection of the various components, which can be assembled and reconfigured to match the mood and message of the wearer.</p>
<p>Zoo Mania builds on the success of Brand Vending’s soft plastic bears for bulk vending. These have proven so popular that Brand instructed the factory to produce a wide range of animal figurines, similar in size and characteristics to the iconic ursine toy. They include soft monkeys, elephants, cows, pigs and a penguin.</p>
<p>California Dreamin’ II also addresses the demand created by an earlier Brand product. California Dreamin’ I paid tribute to the idyllic fun-in-the-sun image of the West Coast created by the popular culture of the ‘60s and ‘70s. That line spoke to the rebirth of enthusiasm for the Beach Boys, Jan &#038; Dean and hot-rod automobiles. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>SCOTTSDALE, AZ &#8212; Brand Vending Products reports that a free beta test version of its <A HREF="http://www.sqwishland.com">Sqwishland</a> online game will go live on June 1. Billed as the &#8220;the first-ever Internet game developed exclusively for and through bulk vending,&#8221; Sqwishland features characters made familiar to kids by Brand&#8217;s capsuled squishy toys, which were introduced in 2006. The site officially launches on July 1.</p>
<p>Each 1&#8243; and 2&#8243; capsule in the new Sqwishland product series &#8212; formerly the popular Mania and Friends bulk lines &#8212; will include a &#8220;fortune-cookie style&#8221; secret code that youngsters can use to access the game and unlock a corresponding character inhabiting the Sqwishland virtual world. Brand said it will begin shipping products with code sheets in June. It expects to have 25 million codes packed into capsules by the end of July.</p>
<p>Like Disney&#8217;s Club Penguin and Ganz&#8217;s Webkinz, Brand&#8217;s Sqwishland is a massively multiplayer online game, known as MMO or MMORPG, involving a virtual world of challenges, activities and avatars. During its public beta test, the bulk vending company is hoping to get feedback from hundreds players in Sqwishland&#8217;s young target audience. It is building awareness for the test through a Facebook campaign and by reaching out to operators&#8217; young family members and their friends. Additionally, seven professional game testers, who will take the game through all its stages, have been recruited for the beta program.</p>
<p>Sqwishland&#8217;s Web server has several practical features designed to drive customers to locations. One of them is the Sqwishfinder management tool, which allows operators to enter the locations of their vending machines and the Sqwishland toys available there. After a bulk patron enters a zip code, Sqwishfinder returns a list of proximity matches with directions by Google Maps. Location information, which can be added to the database at an operator&#8217;s discretion, is uploaded by using a special access code or by contacting Brand. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wednesday, 21 April 2010; Scottsdale, Arizona. Brand Vending Products was honored for the second year in a row, for best selling 1&#8243; and 2&#8243; capsuled products &#8211; SQUISHLAND ZOO &#8211; by National Bulk Vending Association.</p>
<p>Brand Vending Products has developed over twenty-five individual collectibles under various brands, such as Sea Mania and Pet Friends &#8211; selling 50 million units worldwide, since the launch in 2006.  From June, 2010 forward the line will be re-branded as Sqwishland.  Each capsule will contain a &#8220;fortune cookie&#8221; style secret code that will unlock that particular character in Sqwishland (on the internet) and will open games, interaction and a world of fun, through the internet.  Kids will also be able to buy, and decorate a house for their &#8220;Squishy&#8221; character in the Sqwishland online world.</p>

<p>of kids&#8217; &#8217;squishy&#8217; collections began to surface.  When you see eight year olds taking the initiative to make pretty darn good home grown movies, it doesn&#8217;t take much imagination to come up with an idea like linking the characters to an internet game&#8221;</p>
<p>The craze of online gaming has surged in recent years, driven by huge investments by Disney, with &#8220;Club Penguin&#8221; and by Ganz, with &#8220;WebKinz&#8221;.  The Logues felt that &#8220;the opportunity to make a fundamental change to the delivery system of game codes into kids hands was so great, they decided to make the investment, and reposition their line.&#8221;</p>
<p>According to Logue, &#8220;The key difference between traditionally distributed products and Sqwishland is the price point &#8211; that, and its broad distribution.  Whereas most web enriched products sell for $15 or more, Sqwishland collectible retails for just $0.50.  This makes it incredibly affordable.&#8221;</p>
<p>In order to make Sqwishland more profitable for the Operator there will be a powerful software feature, called Sqwishfinder that will allow the Operators to enter the locations of their vending machines and the various Sqwishland series they are vending.  This software will allow the collector to find the closest vending location with their favorite Sqwishland game character.</p>

<p>“In 2006 we never would have thought these soft little animal figurines would become so desirable” says Brand Vending Products CEO Dax Logue. “Our company traditionally worked with novelty items that would sell around two million pieces in a year’s time”. Logue says “we knew something was different when this figurine series reached the two year mark and we were still sold out and backorders continued to grow”.</p>
<p>Logue said “The popularity of the line of “squishy” characters was evident as YouTube videos of kids “Squishy” collections began to surface”.  Logue began to monitor the collector created videos and began to see a trend. “When you see eight year olds taking the initiative to make pretty darn good home grown movies, it doesn’t take much of an imagination to come up with an idea like an internet game” said Logue.</p>

Logue said that “ the massive cost of development of quality online gaming systems has prevented most entrepreneurs from jumping on the band wagon, however we felt that the opportunity to make a fundamental change to the delivery system of game codes into kids hands was so great, we decided to make the investment and reposition our line”.</p>

This makes it incredibly affordable to create collections and provides kids with access to feature rich gaming and social content for a fraction of the price of other web enabled alternatives.”  </p>
<p>The advent of Sqwishland is set to deliver huge benefits to the operators who distribute the bulk vending products in local and regional markets. “We have always relied on Operators to distribute our products so when we set about building Sqwishland a key focus was on how to drive kids back to vending machines and buy more Sqwishes. In doing so we knew this would increase sales and further cement the partnerships we enjoy with our operators”.</p>
<p>In the game there will be a powerful software feature called Sqwishfinder.
