LAS VEGAS, USA—- Dax and Lauri Logue of Brand Vending Products (Scottsdale Arizona, USA) Said “We could not have done it without them!” Of course they are referring to their friends and business associates from TOBYCO Distribution, Wexford, Gorey Co. Ireland and their recent visit to the NBVA show. Logue said, “Our two companies have done a number of shows together in Europe but never in the United States.” Brand Vending Products and Tobyco both worked the ATEI show in London last January.
Spring is the time of year that the National Bulk Vending Association holds its industry convention (NBVA) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shane and Nuela Murphy of Tobyco thought it would be a good idea to attend a U.S Bulk vending event. Shane said “ We are so wrapped up in what we are doing with vending in Ireland that we thought it was time to see how it’s done in other parts of the world.” Shane and Nuela are husband and wife and have a close relationship with their partners Brendan and Marion Murphy who stayed back in Wexford to hold down the fort.
Logue said “It’s so ironic that in just a few short years Europe in many ways is exceeding the United States in Bulk vending.” It seems like yesterday (1999) that I was telling my wife that I thought “Vending was going to explode in Europe due to the new currency (Euro coin).” I think it happened!
